As much as I have embraced winter, I need to be where it’s warm.
If you’re staring at your front yard that’s been buried under snow for the last 2 months, I bet you’re looking forward to signs of life…
I get SO excited when I see my tulips start to peek through the soil and sometimes the last remnants of snow…
Hands down, tulips are my favorite spring flower.
There was a winter, a few years ago, that hit me hard. I needed spring.
Creativity burst in and lo and behold, I created the Twisted Tulip Cup Cozy.
The Twisted Tulip Cup Cozy is one of my best selling patterns (I know, I haven’t really marketed any of my patterns in a long hot second) and you can bet – with my yard buried underneath 2 feet of snow, I’m making these now.
While this blog post is to market the pattern, if you don’t know how to crochet, I can hook you up 3 or 6 or a dozen. Just send me an email at Peggy @ twistedcrochet.com
The Twisted Tulip Cup Cozy pattern is adventurous beginner friendly – I start with a foundation single crochet, a few rounds of half double crochet in the 3rd back loop, a round of double crochet V stitches followed by a round of popcorn stitches and finished up with a few rounds of half double crochet in the 3rd back loop.
It’s a great design to use up your scraps and dream of all things spring!

What color will you be making your Twisted Tulip Cup Cozies in? I can’t wait to see what you make!
